Residential Art Studio – Now we loved this building, but its not everybody’s cup of tea. This was vital to get right for the client as they had very particular requirements. One of the first challenges we had was nothing to be installed on the outside of the building, so we deployed ground lighting to light the building but without effecting the clean lines of the structure. Inside was a polished concrete floor, stainless steel work tops, white walls and sliding doors, There is a wash down area and photographic room. Then in the main art studio we installed daylight LED lighting that was specified by the customer, Floor sockets and ceiling sockets to provide power in every conceivable location. Finally we installed a super energy efficient air source heat pump, running a wet underfloor heating system with 3 phase electricity.
